its true... the black roof bars are a photoshop at present. i did it to see if i liked it, il be putting some black vinyl on to start with until im 100% sure that i want it that way but i think it looks good, especially from that angle so chances are it will be done permenantly :D

 

also, my nose panel still has the Z badge on atm ;)

We know you all prefer black cars, but have to say red as you own them... and are silly that way, i mean buying things you don't really like - that's why some paint/stick on as much black on their cars in order to make them look "less red" and "more black"... hoping that one day you will be able to complete the famed but never succesfully executed "RED to BLACK trick(in 15 parts)" ;)

that blue car looks awesome! i'm still thinking if it's worth doing a respray of my black zed before summer as i've definitely decided not to go wide... for a while, anyway. If i do decide to go for a respay i'm still thinking if i should go dark blue metallic or black... yours is v nice... but blue has to go with cream leather for me - and that's even more £££'s... have to think about it...

I seriously don't like red Zeds. Which might sound stupid as I have got 2 red SWB's and had a Red SWB before these two.

 

I bought everyone because it was a good buy at the time and I fully intended to change the colour of them. I'm not keen on black Zeds either, because they only look nice for the first 10 minutes after you've polished them. Always loved blue cars and going to paint one of my shorties African Violet Pearl.

as for blue - I always liked blue in everything and many cars are just perfect for it - I am thinking if i'm going to drop thousands on a re-spray and cream leather i might go for bmw 3 series dark blue metallic - not the M3 avus, but the darker and deeper colour... what do you think?

 

as to reasons for buying the zed - i am just as rational about it as you... been looking at zeds for 7-8 years - in fact since i sold my first one nearly ten years ago - but didnt take the plunge until prices got this silly - it's simply a lot of good quality car for the money! :smw: still can't believe what a bargain it is i'm driving! :hyper:

lol... in my case its true! it will eventually 1 day, not be red!

Light black (grey).....No contest!!! .. 33years old so close enough to the supposed wisdom of 35!!

Black is my favourite stock colour. However it is such a PITA to keep clean, as soon as it gets remotely dirty it looks shite.

 

In fact..on that note..I'll change my answer to Silver being my favourite stock colour.
