Some of you may remember that I had my own site called 300zx-mods.co.uk.

Shortly after the Zed went off the road I stopped updating this and a year later didn't bother renewing.

I was browing the hard drive on my PC last night (found some interesting stuff but that's another story). I found all the write ups with step by step instructions and step by step picture guides that I wrote. Each blog gives details and pictures of exactly what screws and clips you need to undo to get parts off, tips and tricks of removals and anything else you would possibly need to do the job yourself.

The reason I started the site was becuase back in 2002 it was hard to find somone to do the work for you, so we all started doing it ourselves, boosting each others confidence and working in pairs or groups until we were confident that we could do it ourself.

I still have the following Blogs:

1) Remove and Retrim the intire interior pannels on a 2+2 in either vinyl or leather.

2) Remove dismantle and Retrim both the front and rear seats on a 2+2.

3) Remove the orange lense from front indicators (Jap spec).

4) Fitting Traction control - exactly how to do it with full pictures of what wires on the ECU and ABS module to interupt/slice into.

5) Converting from Air filter to an induction kit.

6) Sound proofing the car ready for an ice install.

7) Building your own Sub rack from wood and fiber glass

8) Upgrading your Brakes to R34 Calipers, pads and discs (obviously this will help you even if you just want to change your discs and pads and leave your old calipers in place).

9) Chaning your gear shift bushes.

10) Fitting a short shifter

11) Fitting a boost controller

12) Changing the Pcv valves

13) Changing the Dials

14) Fitting a kmh to MPH convesion kit.

15) Fitting 99 spec rear lights

16) Rear / front bumper removal

17) Stripping the front of the engine down to change the water pump.

18) Fitting front and rear strut / brace bars

19) Fitting blow off valves (BOVS)

20) Fitting A pillar pods and after market gauges (oil pressure, boost and water temp)

21) Replacing your radiator with upgrades

22) Replacing your oil cooler with upgrades

23) Replacing your intrcoolers with upgrades

24) Replacing your viscous fan with electric

25) How to make switch pannel for your addition mods.

26) Replacing your steering wheel with an aftermarket (including hub)

27) Replacing your Shocks (front and rear)

28) Swapping out your Rear Diff

29) Removing your engine - this covers gear box, propshaft and exhaust removal

I can't think of what else I have but if a few people are interested in any of the above let me know and as soon as I get a chance I post them up.

Very useful. In another forum I belong to there is a very good section called 'How To's" that contains exactly this type of info. The section isn't cluttered with questions about the particular mod, it's just the 'how to' information.

I could host them on my site if you wanted. It's about time I did some updates !

Stick em in the FAQ section on here :)
