Very curious to know what silly things people have done over the years, be it by accident on purpose or just plain stupidity.

For example:

Like last week while on the way to the tracking garage i tryed to show off doing a U turn but ended up hitting a kurb and bending a wishbone , i just fitted new inner hicas bushes which also bent. was literally right out side the garage so ended up just limping home. Wont be doing that again too soon. :mac1: :mac1:

So what you guys done? and come on i know you lot are far from angels

this should be interesting.

I was pushed and stuck forward my knees wer touching underneath the steering, my foot had bent the throttle and clutch, they had to cut the seat coz it was jammed forward, the door was sticking in my ribs and was real painful until they gave me the happy gas then i was in a world of my own...... went and saw the car next day and took a few bits i needed.

j1mmytt!!! Dude that car is a total mess! As zx-eyes says, I too have seen plenty of salvage in my time, but that don't even need to go to the crusher lol, you did all the hard work for them :D

Must of been fun though. Bet it brought you back down to earth when you found out about your tyres. LOL

And that is why i did my cbt, realised you have got to be mental to wanna ride bikes and went no further. Like everyone told me - stick to four wheels!!! lol

It was midnight and the motorway was empty apart from a lonely metro in the inside lane doing about 50, watching his lights wobble in the rear view mirror was funny lol. VERY lucky re the tyre - there was actually an 18 inch flap of rubber where it had delaminated lol. Was great fun though, damn thing was still pulling like a train I just lost my bottle when everything went blurred lol

You must be fairly brave, i'v got to 150mph and it felt rather unsafe so i backed it off, however when i get it back i might push my bravery level - not that i can get it anywhere near what your car is capable of. lol

i crashed my first car, properly, aged 4. Parents owned a house that had a drive snaking up to the front door in lynton lynmouth. Dad .

You might know my old man then Dave... Paul Johnson, he grew up in Lynton!! small world

Mine first one was in a VW polo coupe, thought it would be a good idea to see how far I could get it off the ground 5 up.... Turned out to be not such a great plan when it hit the ground and crushed the sump, gearbox linkages, exhaust etc

Had to kick it out of forth and two of my mates managed to pull it into 2nd so I could limp it home!! oops

Not if I steal your engine
