To give the greatly reduced entrance fee of £10 plus postage and paypal fee possible we will have to prepay for the tickets in the near future

 

This would enable you to get into the show and park your Z/ZX in the join clubs stand in the midst of the action and not in the general car park.

We also hope to book 2 track sessions solely for the Fairlady Z range at the cost of Approx £25 plus postage etc

 

The reduced prepaid fee gives you a saving of £5 if you want to pay on the day and £3 if you book through us instead of prepaying through Castle Combe

 

To give this service we will have to shortly pay out approx £2000 in advance and as such would need to gauge your interest NOW

Not putting a downer on this BUT if everyone is going to ditch Z008 in favour of this I would rather know NOW rather than spend countless hours arranging a massive event for no one to turn up....

Why would it be ditched by people

When we first spoke about Zoo8 we knew about japfest being at towards the end of May

I and most of the Z owners I know will be going to both meets

I hope everyone will attend both, its just financial constraints etc, might effect people, which is understandable.

 

I guess what Andy means is that if someone who has put their name down for z008 and would rather attend Japfest as an alternative, will just give him the heads up, so he knows how many people to cater for.

I'm thinking about this but i think it's too far for me to travel two weekends on the trot. Unless, i can take the week in between off of work........im gonna have to say that i'll no be at Japfest.

That wasn't me, it was Paul, i remember that as he borrowed my keys to try his lock !

Went a couple of years ago, got very wet, umberella destroyed itself, and had a whale of a time.

 

Will try and book time of work, but provisionally im well up for it

Unfortunately won't be attending this, as much as i'd love to go i can't afford to attend this and Z008 and i'm definately going to Z008 :hyper: :nana2:

There's always the next Japfest or next year but not so for Z008....

I will be be going Japfest, havent got name down for Z008 yet so not sure if be attending that, would like to tho as sounds like it will be a huge event and would be good to meet peeps from futher afield, its just the case of ££££, but will see what I can do to attend both ;)

I have volunteered to help organize this event for the ZClub. We currently have 34 people in 21 Z cars attending and almost everyone is doing track sessions. Personally I will be attending both Z008 at Billing and Japfest, but I understand most people may not be able to do both. So, if you are planning to attend please add your name to the list, if not, that's cool.

please also remember that Madmarco has jumped in at the deep end to organise this event, never having done it before. Please don't sign on on this thread if you've already done so on the Z Club site and remember it does confuse things if you have a different user name on each site. Anyway turn up and enjoy, it's a great event.
