I'm trying to take the glass and regulators out of my doors, but it's quite difficult. Is there a write up on how to do it or if anyone can let me know.

Ive done the door windows and didnt take too long, there should be some info on the subject if you search,

But to simplify-ish: you need to take the door trim off, lets assume you've got that far, seat belt off if a jap import, ie: on the door. There is a blanking gromit on the top of the pillar on the outside of the door, this gives you access to the bolt and screw you will need to remove the top trim cover of the door where the seatbelt bolt goes through.

You have to take the window stops out which is basically 2 bolts that sit at the top of the inner door, in line with the glass runners try not to drop them inside the door, also remove the plastic trim which the rear of the windows guide sits in on the outer part of the door ,( there are plastic clips holding this in place, so be careful not to yank it off, otherwise bye bye clips)

 

you will need to make sure that the window is down to remove the 2 bolts which hold the glass, this is done with access at the bottom of the door cutouts, you will see what i mean when the door trim is off, so have the window controls handy to plug back in if you havent already opened the window.

To get the glass out you need to have it at an angle, so wing mirror end down a bit to lift the back of the glass out of its guide, a bit of wiggling and it will come out, putting the new one back is the reverse process, just remember there are 3 guide discs on the glass, just make sure they are seated in the runners, they should slot straight back in. the window motor is also visible when you take the door trim off.
