AAAHHHH I just kurbed one of my wheels very badly. the rim is bent slighty can it be fixed or do i have to buy a new one?

if it can be repaired who can do it?

 

its a rays engineering volks wheel 17 inch.

im so upset as i just bought them :(

a photo would give me an idea. Ive got some mates who do wheel refurb. I can show them the pic and ask there opinion for you if you like

Ok im going to honest..... its screwed, i skidded the back into a kurb and the wheel is fubard and the rear left wishbone is bent the track rod end is bend also, im not so botherd about the suspension bits as i was planning an overhaul anyway. just worried about the wheel and if i can get another like it? or maybe it can be repaired??? il get a picture now.

Theres a place in Carnwath (Scotland) who can repair any wheels, they have some pics on their website showing before and after pics some of them i would have thought scrap.

yeah i spoke to that lot and i have to send the wheel up to them.... im sure it will be ok. should be able to fix it..... but about a price...... hmmmm

 

im sooooo pissed off how can i be so dumb.... just fitted a new inner hicas bush and now thats bent, i literally fit it today then drove the car to get the tracking....... then bye bye.... ahhhh

what i will say with the risk of offending you bud is "slow down" ive noticed your recent posts and its all been fast fast power power :rofl: theres plenty of time in the summer for that larky as we want you to keep your zed in one piece for the hot sticky nights ahead ;)

about 10 mph maybe less, the tracking place was on the other side of the road i was doing a u turn...............PISSED, so instead of getting the tracking done as there would be no point i just went home :(

Damn unlucky if ya ask me, i almot cryed, and another piss take was that i went to get a price for tracking at some other place which was 10 quid more, so instead of saving money i should of just let them do it:( but noooooooooooo i though id save 10 quid and drive to the other place :(

there's a place in Hemel which repaired a few dents in my alloys if you want their details?

i have to agree with znut`s above post on this one, plus i did state on one of your other posts (one of these will bite you in the ass before you can react in this weather, be careful). you have to treat them with a little respect. as znut says, we are not trying to lecture you in any way, just trying to save another zed. :cool: i hope you get it sorted.

I wasnt going fast....... it was a clumbsy mistake...... i know these cars can bite you in the ass, i know this as ive had a few lucky moments already, just pissed of that it was such a slow mistake. the wishbone must have been weak to be able to bend at that speed. but hay more excuse more overhaul.

il know not to make that mistake again.
