Well, we've been through some tough times lately. I seriously mistreated my baby and she hasn't been speaking to me. :(

Tonight I brought her a few gifts and all has been forgiven!

The meets wouldnt be the same without you! Get that black beauty on the road :D

Nice one Marco, good to see you getting it done, properly sweet looking car at the Xmas meet..... bit dirty though lol

Nice one fella. Glad to see it's not going to be a sad ending.

Just out of curiosity what tyres have you got on your car. I cannot advercate Bridgestone SO2's enough to keep you on the black stuff durring these cold wet and frosty months. I also rate Piolets and Eagles as close seconds.

Just a thought buddy. These tyres in the wet cold conditions are way beyond Toyo Poxy's etc, and surely shes worth it. You know how much a pritty woman likes good quality shoes. You know she'll love you for it.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. The short days and long working hours mean I am limited to working on it weekends only. I just want to get out there and start bolting new bits on!

Oh, Chris I was running Kumo's on the back which are the worst tires in the wet I have ever experienced. I will be upgrading them as soon as the cars drivable. What do the Bridgstones cost?

I've always had Goodyear F1's and have found them to be excellent. I also have RL traction control - I notice it wasn't on your list of goodies....

Ill go with what mark said. When i bought my old zed it had Pirelli P-zeros on them, which were just plain scary in the wet. I changed my wheels (apache got them now) to some Blitz type V's which had shite jap rubber on them, to B'stone S02's. Stunning difference in the wet and very grippy in the dry.

I started to struggle getting hold of S02's so went for S03's instead, which i believe are still standard fitment on Porsche's. Both outstanding tyres in wet and dry conditions, and even though i dont have a zed any more, i will only put bridgestones on my FireBlade.

I will agree with Jeremy as well, if i couldnt get Bstones, i would go for Goodyear Eagle F1's as well, which have an equally good reputation for wet weather driving

S02's are still available and were the tyre that the 300zx was built on. They are standard Porsche fitment so many trye fitters are frightened to fit tyres in their sale books listed as maunfacturer specific. I have a good discount from Demon Tweeks so I get my Bridgestones at £115.00 for fronts 235/35/18 and £130.00 265/30/18 rears.

I've been giving my zed a lot of loving lately so understand where you're at...

It will be nice to see it back again (swoons) :D

I want to paint my black

It's going to be sweet with those new headers and the like! Nice one...
