That'll be in the village of Trencreek on the edge of Newquay (I lived there for 6 months). Greg's in W-S-M so it's a bit of a trek.

I used to carp a lot at Bolingey, near Perranporth, and had loads of doubles. It was a real shame that there was a water-poisoning incident.

Greg, give me a shout when you come up to Gloucester - I'd go to Lechlade with you. I don't know how it's doing since the flooding, but there is a lake next to the Walham power station in Gloucester (the one that was on the news about the flooding) and that has/had lots of doubles - hard to catch, though, apparently.

used to carp fish a lot, but don't have time now :)

don't like pike, horrible creatures,

Got the lot, Greg, except for a landing net - always used to fish with my mates who had them.
