thanks just need that reasurance as i dont want to get half way and get a call from my mate sayin it dont fit as i wanted to fit a tt box as i thought thet would be stronger than a n/a box hoping it would last longer

why? also do i then need the flywheel?

opps, yes forgot that, you will need that too or the starter motor wont touch properly.

The TT TQ and Ring gear are larger. I suppose you could just change the Bellhousing though with your NA one and use the TT ring gear and TQ.

legrath is it poss for you to pm me a contact number gettin a bit confused now

You can always try Andyzed at supercarparts, he usually has autoboxs in stock thats where I got mine, reasonable price and will arrange delivery.

No the NA box is shorter then the TT box also the output shafts are smaller on a NA box. I know as I have a NA box sat here that I bought to replace my TT one. (didn't relies it was a NA box at the time till i went to fit it.)

I cant explain why yours is different but I have personally fitted a TT autoboxe onto my old NA before without problem, and know that SWZ have done the same many times. You just either swap the bellhousing, or you replace the Ring gear and TQ with TT versions at the same time.

They are the same length(or if they are different its never been a noticable difference or warranted a problem) and the output shafts are the same, which can be confirmed by the fact that the only difference with front propshafts is between auto and Manual, otherwise they are the same. Its onlt the rear half that is different for TT or NA becuase of the Differential.

Well the na box i have here is smaller then the tt one.
