Remember that it doesn't HAVE to be in your current job...it sounds like a "in your life" type question.

 

What the Job for?

Tell them about when you did something really difficult. I think that's what they're asking for in a needlessly wordy way.

the job is for a i.t. company in the civil service.

I can give an example for you;

 

what happened - You joined 300zx.co.uk

 

what i did - posted up a load of chod and asked lots of silly questions

 

how i did it - by typing on your keyboard, without thinking with your brain.

 

and the result - Everyone took the piss out of you! But you showed your determination by coming back on every day to ask more silly questions!!!

on a serious note it really has to be something you did. think of anything from a abusive customer to stopping a fight in a pub or something. they want you people skills

You bought a car that developed a intermittent fault that you took back to the company, they had little to know experiance with the car so tried to fob yoou off. You searched teh internet for a solution to yoour problem and found various forums with links to info on yoour car, part of this was a diagnostics review. Also though the site you got contact numbers of people who had similar problems and with this in hand you went back to the company and insisted they fix the problem or refund the money.

As they could not fix it they refunded your money, but through the forums you got the contact of a local guy selling a better car which you know own and love.

 

Or

 

You met this girl in a bar who was a right royal PITA always flirting but no backbone. One night you see her walking about town drunk so you got her in a taxi and took her home. As youo had no idea where you lived you thought it best she stayed at yours, while there you rogered her silly untill she woke up and walked out teh house with a fookeing great smile on her face and a stagger like john wayne.

Say you read all the above advice and became determined to learn to spell . So you joined a class in an infants` school . Things can only get better , as long as you take your ( as opposed to " you`re " ) afternoon nap .

Tell them you have no idea what to do without asking your internet friends .

tell em to stuff the job as your going to learn to speak estonion and develop a need for a walking stick and inherit drug issues thus enabling you to earn about £300 a week for doing fvk all :mad:

what other jobs have you done? There must have been an instance in one of your employments or even down the gym or something like that, its to show basic problem solving skills and the way you approach a problem.
