Is any body running these?? what do you think ie: performance gains and ease of install??

Just been looking on Smithys/DTA site and thinking of buying them.

Not too bad to install but I've not really had a chance to test them in anger yet. Build quality and price were very good IMO...

a little tricky to install and they pretty much fit oem , but had to make a small adjustment to do so. Build quality is very good and as for performance..have no idea lol

I tested at Thor before and after.

However it was Greddy SMIC's, howe rad and electric fan.

I doubt very much that the Howe or electric fan would give me any BHP gains, but the IC's did let me add another 2 psi before det, but then I believe the det was caused by the injectors maxing out rather than the heat sink.

In terms of BHP, it was about 23 BHP gain if I remember correctly. Not a great deal but I bought them as part of a bigger project, one bit at a time so to speak.

Oh forgot to say, when fitting make sure you put the bolts in all holes even if they are not going to be used to attach :slap:

Fitted mine put everything back on and then delevoped a mysterious boost leak. :smw:

I have just fitted some ebay ones and I'm booked back on the dyno on the 9th of jan if I get my dash back in this weekend!

So results should be up around then!

Not sure if i did that, would that cause a boost leak?

If you don't seal off all the holes, the IC will be venting to atmosphere - therefore big boost leak :(

Must look into that one as only been boosting to about .5 bar and a code 55. Thanks for that

Electric fan would make quite a difference! No more viscous fan means less drag on the bottom pulley ;) Its not an inconsiderable amount either
