After recently delimiting and changing over the Z to MPH I am having problems every morning. When the car is driven from cold the Speedo is reading 0 MPH and after about 1 min the steering becomes very heavy. After about 5 mins driving the Speedo starts to jump around and rests at the position it should be at. The power steering returns. This happens every morning. Yet if I start the car during the day it seems to be fine. I have gone through two convertors allready.???

Yes the problem is probably the Speedo conversion, if it was done poorly, it sounds like you have a dodgy connection some where in the system.

Give Luke a phone at the Z center for a reliable one.

Might be worth while having a look at the speed sensor as they are a known failure on the higher millage cars out there.

i must speak to luke or johnny about this as its about time i knew wot speed i am actualy doing lol

I had a faulty speed sensor and got stopped by the cops doing 95 on the motorway.

I was just waiting for him to ask me if I knew what speed I was doing!

I decided that saying I have no idea because the speedo wasn't working was probably not a good idea...

I have the same problem as Roy and ironically it was fitted at the Zcentre as I think Roy's was also.

Looks like luke has a faulty batch!
