Tim,

Most of the fun is in modifying it yourself so you could always get a bog standard 300 and easily increase its power and buy a body kit etc...

If you don't like the sound of that then check out the For Sale and Wanted part of the Forum. Hairsy's 300 may still be up for sale how does 432bhp sound???

Agree with george 100%,

I would get a Stock one especially if you want a import as the Japanese run 100 Octane fuel meaning they can push there cars further than ours without detonating. This of course means most cars that are pre modded on import are tuned for 100Oct,

I would get a stock one and then mod it yourself as per the advice from guys here or get a decent UK spec or Jap spec one that has been modded in this country and has reputable upgrades like Hairsy's one.

Thanks guys,

Where in the UK can i excpect to pick up a descent pre-moded example?

Tim.

Depends where you are looking mate.

If you have someone that really knows the car with you , i would look at the private market, you can get a better price usually.

If you dont know the car very well and can't get help, there are a lot of expensive things that can go wrong which take experience to spot. Make sure you go to a very reputable garage. I would recommend Charlesworths in Nottingham, they are not cheap but there after sales service is good and they know imports very well.

I would suggest talking to people in your area. Johnny at GPS and the guys up north, or SteveE, craig, Dave ,Anders and the other million southern fellas. If your in the midlands give us a shout and i'll have a quick look at things with ya.
