Right been seaching for a go hour on here and can't find anything

My hicas ligh does not come on at start up think the owner before me disabled it some how now its mot time coming up and need to know if

Mr MOT bloke will fail the car on this light not coming on ?car drives nice

and is there a thread or somthing on what to check for mot pass
