I'll try and be as concise as possible.
Friday night, park the car on the drive and don't use it again until Saturday evening. When I start it, it sounds like it's only running on 5 cylinders so i check the coil pack connectors and they all seem fine. I'm not going far, only 2 minutes over the road to the supermarket, so I decide to take the zed anyway as it might just be damp due to it hammering down all day. Sounds like it's running on 5 all the way to the shop with ALOT of smoke coming from the passenger side exhaust. Park up, come back out and running on 6 again :hyper: . Drive back home and take a slow, tight, left hander and goes back down to 5 again and starts smoking once more, park up and leave it for the night.
I went back out this morning and it wouldn't start at all, I did an ecu diagnostics and came back with a code 34 which is strange as I have by-passed the det sensor  checked all the connectors I could find in the bay (nothing seemed unusual) and tried again, with a cough and a splutter after a few more goes she started and went from 5 - 6 a few times and then levelled out. I figured i should take it for a drive to see if it was something wet and it would dry it out. All the time I was driving it stayed running on 6 but there was alot of smoke from the passenger side again and it took a long time for it to clear. Seems OK and back to normal now.
Can anyone tell me what might have caused this? Just so that I know what to look for when it happens again.
Cheers peeps.
