Sadly Evel Knievel the stunt driver has passed away aged 69

Eval used to use a 240Z, that was chopped-topped by 41/2 inch and powered by a Chevy V8, as a show car

I had everyone ready to kill me at work today after shouting NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO at the top of my voice for about 5minutes.

He broke something like 40 bones during his career, so I don't even know whether he was a great stuntman either! ;)

Seriously though, Knievel was an amazing showman, incredibly brave and a great inspiration for a number of people. I think it's often better not to know the person that lies behind the performer. It's better to remember them for what what they did best, not what they did worst.
