We asked if the top (example) would fit and he came up with this answer??

Do you know if the car has HICAS? This is a system on the car that makes the 4 wheels steer. But some 300zx's do not have this system or have had it 'locked'. This means the HICAS has been disabled.

So basically if the 4 wheels are steering then no the hub will not fit If only the front 2 are steering then yes the hub (and wheel) will fit.

 

Any ideas what he is going on about?? :confused:

 

Forgot to mention i have a momo steering wheel already in.

I think I am right in saying that the hicas is controlled from switches within the hub. Hence if you don't have the hicas you don't need such a complicated hub.

 

This means that the hub will not control your hicas.

one thing to add to this though, if you don't fit the hicas hub the horn then wont work as it works off the hicas, i'm sure you may be able to bodge it some how but it will twist a cable all over the place.

iff you allready have a momo then just fit the wheel to the exsisting boss using the number of small hex bolts
