Item No.320181917525. Anyone got these. Any comments would be welcome.

cheers Paul

Have to agree with joely. there was a thread recently where one of these broke. Can't find it however. Not the sort of thing to scrimp on.

Paul,

It was a part that was originally fitted in Japan before the car was exported to the UK. All other bits were also upgraded at the time so it wasn't a matter of bad "upgrading".

There are a few cheap "copies" of the SPL original adjustable upper arm floating around and it really isn't worth getting these. More than likely they ware copies of S13 or Skyline upper arms which do not fit correctly on Z32's without some modifications. Furthermore, the fabrication material is inferior and therefore prone to stress breaks.

I really do suggest you seriously consider either the Powertrix or SPL arms we sell. You get what you pay for and both these items are the absolute best you can buy. Have a look at the website for price details.

Let me know if I can help source these parts for you.

Dan

I can't find the thread it was on.

I don't kow any of the details other than it had been imported with the uppr arms on so it is doubtful there were any other details anyway.

I will kep looking for the post.

Darrell

Not ssaying you shouldn't buy them but for the sake of 30 or 40 quid, by the time you may have paid import tax etc, in my opinion you are better off buying the ones off Danny and having some sort of piece of mind. At least then if you have a problem you have a contact in this country who will sort it out for you.

Good luck with what ever you decide anyway.

Hi Darell, I've been looking at the feedback that these have been getting on ebay and it's all very positive, I even contacted three of the guys that have bought them and all were very impressed with them, all said that thet were of good quality, one was replacing the one's he already had on his car.

With all due respect bud in relation to feedback on ebay, it's all good if the transaction went well, goods received quickly and as described and that's it.

Your average joe soap wouldn't know a good set of these compared to a bad set.

The Ad states " no instructions" Z32 specific upper arms are different at either end, not easily noticable, so SPL and Powertrix ones are marked accordingly and tally with the instructions supplied, fit them back to front which is very easy to do ( even for a garage) and they won't work correctly, so no instructions is great start! possibly these ones are identicle either end, if so that's even worse!

It states "japanese bearings" mainly as a sales ploy cos we all like to buy japanese for our japanese car, why not state the brand, theire arn't many who do em, SPL and Powertrix use Koyo btw.

They do work out cheaper than what the vast majority use, so hopefully the saving will offset what yer gonna do to get sorted IF they don't last or get fitted incorrectly and you try to sort it out with the seller.

Least with danny being here, a simply local phone call or PM and he can take care of you :)

Thought Powertrix were Nachi bearings?? Not picking - just wondering if they were swapped... any reason/ should I worry if I have early ones??

No not all mate, as time has gone on minor alterations by both powertrix and SPL have been done to their suspension products, Nachi are a good make, think it was mearly down to the manufacturer.
