Driving around when the car is cold and the heating on, I can smell a strong smell of petrol. Also it exhaust fumes smell a little of petrol. This is only when the engine is cold though, what shall i do?

Happens every year - go round all fuel pipe clamps you can find and re-tighten them. Also check under the centre throttle cover for the hose at the front between the fuel rails...

You'll need to take the battery out to do the lowest of the pipe clips :(

One of mine is leaving at the moment but taking the battery out in the cold seems like so much hassle!! (Maybe I'm just a lazy git!)

will be nice and cosy if the engine bay goes up in flames, you can tighten it then :D
