I've not driven another car since owning my Z and a borrowed a Mazda 6 auto last night, god it was boring!!!!!!!!!

 

It had no character, it was i guess, just a car. I just can't drive a regular car, it bores me to death!!!!!, what the hell i'm going to do when we run out of petrol i don't know!!!

My old boss had one and yes, I can empathise. It was about as exciting as mowing the lawn!

i drove a mazda mx5 today the 2.0 and i have to say it was awesome took the missus out in it and scared her to death but i bet i looked a right muppet 6' 4" in a car i could almost wear i put the roof down and could see over the top of the windscreen lol but what a belting motor cornered like a fly......still prefer the zed tho

Mate, hate to say this, but there's a big difference between an MX5 and a mazda 6. Maybe you were thinking of the MX-6...which is a Probe in drag.

 

The Mazda 6 is this, the most unassuming car on sale in the sector at the moment.

 

 

Talking of new cars in this area. Has anyone seen one of the new Lagunas on the road yet? Now, it looks kinda interesting and a little (dare I say it) 'cool' in the advert. But seeing it on the road the other day made me squirm. It looks absolutely terrible. From the front end it looks cross eyed and the back end it looks all out of proportion. I laughed when I saw it.

I think that the new Laguna looks very like the facelifted Citroen C5 from the back...The previous Laguna looked quite nice from the rear, a bit like an Alfa Romeo in fact!

The Mazda 6 is very similar to the Honda Accord from the front and both models look better as estate cars, especially the Honda.
