What speed ... at what revs ... in what gear

Guys just a thought. I am trying to solve an intermittent problem with my speedo. And figured it would be useful reference material if I could raise thge back wheels off the ground and bench test the speedo. The car is currently on a SORN while I sort out the work and I dont really want to be fiddling with wires out on the road!!

However in order to do this I need to know what speed should be registered at various revs in each gear.

So what I was going to suggest when you guys are out and about if you can note the following info for various revs and I will collate and post up for future reference:

- NA/TT

- JSpec/UK

- Manual/Auto

- Year

- Gear

- Revs

- Indicated Speed

- Sat Nav Indicated Speed where available

The more we have the more likely we can account for minor inaccuracies in a single person's speedo/data and get decent averages.

I think it would be very useful, any thoughts??

p.s. if this already exists then let me know (and where I can find it) and I'll be quiet :D

I would find this useful too as my speedo needs some fine tuning after going on bigger wheels.

Will be extra helpful if it it from a digital readout GPS for extra accuracy

there is an excel sheet for gear ratios for the Z32 which tells you rpm per speed , but Im having problems with my Home PC so cant get it...somebody else should have a copy though
