OK ignoring teh engine as this is pretty much covered, from the flywheel to the rear tyres, what would be the ideal setup for a trace/raod/race car. Not drifting as the rear diff would be useless on the roads/track.

So off the shelf what options.

A: Cost not and Option

B: Realistic budget. (£500 per item)

So we have Flywheel, Clutch, Gear Box, Prop, Diff and anything else I am forgetting. Lets try and get facts only as I tend to find that hearsay and forum rhmor tend to not hold true in real life.

I was thinking of

Fidenza fly

RPS MAx Sport

OSGiken gears

z1 1 peice ali prop

OSGiken DIff

Featured Replies

thought that would scare em away

ok, I'll bite

clutch/flywheel A would be the RPS carbon/carbon, B fidanza/rps sounds fine, but might wilt if you throw too much power at it.

Gearbox OS Giken is the only real choice short of a dogbox which is of no use on the road

prop 1-piece ali or carbon

diff stock one isn't so bad, other wise quaiffe have released a good one. don't know mych about the OSG one

Other things to consider if you haven't already:

braided clutch line, bronze shifter bushings, short shifter, replacement diff & subframe bushes

and get some lightweight wheels!

Whats's your spec?

no one can get much more than 5-600 ponies over here, so am not expecting much different. fully forged lump, 16g tubs, 750cc injectors, all the useless shit thrown away. greedy fmic.
