think this post will show a load of either rich or stupid guys(mugs)

dont no which 1 i am as ive spent more on my car than it cost me in the first place.

I must be mad, paid £9K for it in 2000 and will have spent as much again on it when the kit and goodies are finished by the end of next month (hopefully!)

But I luv iiiitt!!

 

About £750 sorting shit out!but it is totally stock??

look forward to spending all my hard ernd in the future though!!

EBC brakes =£165 discs+pads(green stuff)

new clutch =£80 LUK stock 3 parts

workshop manual =£99 nissan(robbin btards)

wheels refurbed =£250 dark chrome(look awesome)

battery =£30 new

misc bits =£125

 

Not stupid, not rich........

 

But spent about 2,000 so far....on various bits and bobs....ie;

 

Sevices (major and minor) brakes, discs, mods, ICE, Tyres (latest!) and general looks!

Absolutely nothing! (Apart from routine services every 6 months)

In nearly 4 years nothing whatsoever has EVER gone wrong with my '96 TT. Most reliable car I have ever had.Amazing cars.

Will anything EVER go wrong? Yawn.

 

Spent £26K in total on mine including £9K to buy it.

Don't need it any more though as I have a wife to spend my money.

Cost 6 grand..............spent 6 grand and still going strong on the spending front!!!!

 

Worth every god damn penny............

- Mongoose exhaust £500

- Front & Rear Spoilers £400

- Turbos/injectors/ecu/turbo timer, recon auto gearbox, radiator, water pump £10k

- More pirelli tyres £600

- Tinted glass £300

- Decatt pipes, HKS EVC £600

- More toyo tyres £600

- Gearbox oil cooler, s/hand engine swap, sway bars, strut brace £5k

- Larger intercoolers, spoiler vents, underdrive pulleys £1200

- Better ICE £450

 

Probably forgot some stuff but was it worth it. OMG FUCK YES! BMWs/FERRARIs/LAMBOs/LOTUSs BYE Y'ALL!

300zxTT is still way cheaper than owning a modified Ferrari which was my only other choice 2 years ago.

Roughly speaking.

 

Bought my 1992 reg Z in Feb 2000 for £8500!!

 

Spent another £10 grand to get it to what it is now, plus repairs.

 

Still love the car to bits.. Despite making a manky 390 hp. frown.gif

where did you get it dynoed?

and was that at the wheels? or flywheel>?

 

Spend 5150 to buy it

Plus 5000 for Import taxes (my country law)

 

900 for Level 10 Billet Converter

550 for JW ECU

550 for SBC-ID

1300 for Triflo exchaust

1000 for some extras (gauges, stereo etc.)

 

Total so far: 14450.

 

Not Bad !!!

What a depressing post.

Paid £6500 for the car and probably about £5000 repairing/upgrading. Trying not to keep count tho.

Its better not to, or at least keep it well away from the better half.
