Maf

i put my car on diagnostics at the weekend and the code for the maf sensor came up, i have now brought a new one and waiting for it to be deliverd,

my question is... when i fit the new one will the car be fine again (no more limp home mode) or will i have to get the auto electrican round again to wipe the code from the ecu?

also the dredded knock sensor came up again :headvswal , has anybody tried one of the knock sensor relocating kits? are they worth a go?
