Resprayed my spoiler today but a few specks of primer went AWOL! How can I remove it?

Featured Replies

What do you mean mate on the surrounding panels around the spoiler or on the spoiler itself?

I would just wet and dry (1500 and 2000) the parts that have gone wrong and spray over the top. If its bad go for 1200, but i would'nt go much more abbrasive than that.

Do you mean the surrounding area you were not supposed to be spraying has the specks and the spoiler itself?

just the surrounding area. Spoiler is mint. Was thinking thinners myself.

use thinners then a dam good polish, thinners takes over spray off no problem but dont use to much and polish it off asap,

Agree, but i would t-cut then polish.

T-cut for me to, thiners may be to strong if you have already had a full respray.

Just use T-cut tried tested and safe :)

not had a full respray, just did the ropey bits! quite impressed actually, you cant tell and the colour match was superb!

i would go with the t cut or a similar cutting compound not to harsh but you will find that if its been over sprayed on to polished areas it will lift off no problem
