27/28/29 July - The Original Japanese Auto Extravaganza - Billing Aquadrome

 

i know some of you have been here previously, and it is now quite a large event, so i have booked us some definite space.

 

9 or 16 Sept - TRAX2001 - Silverstone

 

i have a contact name and number, but currently having trouble getting to talk to the guy, or getting a call back, but i will keep on it.

 

Once i finally get through, it would be nice to have an idea of how many people qould like to attend, and how many want track time.

 

We can get club exclusive track time for up to 40 cars, for 650 quid. 16.25 per car.

and entry price is 5 per person booked in advance, with car pass. This info is subject to confirmation from the elusive contact :)

 

Once i know firm figures i will want to know who is definite, and want money as well... you are warned

13 Oct - All Japanese Track Day - Goodwood

 

This is being organised by the Datsun Z club apparently, but i can get further details if interested. 35-50 quid.

 

24 June - Worlds biggest one day car show - Norman Park, Bromley

 

organised by Practical Classic, apparently one of the longest running uk car shows, with over 10,000 cars this year.

 

we can get 3 cars on a stand, and dedicated parking area for members.

 

24 June as well - Japanese Import and Performance Show - Billing Aquadrome

 

This is supposedly an attempt at a commercial version of the Original Extravaganza in July.

I am waiting for contact info.

 

 

I will definitely be going to TRAX and the July show at Billing, and i will need some definite numbers for these events.

count me in for both of the billing trips but im already booked in with the 200+ club for trax so thats out. april 1st meeting is dependant on a big work move and johnny will tell you everything including my z comes second to my work

 

Definite for Trax & Goodwood - likely for others.

I hear on the grapevine you might have lying around a tasty Bomex rear spoiler, you know if your not going to be fitting for quite some time or might even change your mind about style, you could sell.

we've got a big cruise that night in donny as well so it should be a laugh. the end is in sight for all of my bits going on i'm told the week after the donny show and the lads are gonna start it thank god. it must be a record waitin over 7 months for a kit to go on but at least johnny will be a happy man then lol

 

I spoke to Craig yesterday about another good day out. Brighton Speed Trials. Always the 2nd saturday in september. Standing 1/4 speed trial. Loads of interesting cars/bikes. If you want to enter I think its about £80. Voyeurs can get in for £10.

 

I have been going for the past 10 years and I have never seen a 300ZX TT race.
