no not smut ........but does anyone know if the front and read discs have the same size bells as i am thinking of putting my front 3G set up and front calipers on the rear and going 6 pot and larger discs on the front ..as you know the handbrake is internal to the bell on the rear and if its a simple matter of making up some brackets to get it to fit then thats not a show stopper...........unless someone knows otherwise ???? :slap:

I don't reckon it's that simple.... The handbrake would need a cast iron liner otherwise you'd be running the brake shoes onto the aluminium.

Surely 3G do a proper rear axle bell? Or if not it's a one off jobbie!!

yes see what your saying , but as i only use the handbrake for parking would it be an issue if the shoes padded up against alloy or cast iron ?? ..i will have a good look when im home and see if its feasable .........cheers Dunk

Erm the rear discs are actually bigger in diameter than the fronts! the fronts are thicker though hence the 4 pot caliper.

im running 3G 310mm rotors on the front at the moment Paul and want to swap them to the back

and then put 345 on the front with 6 pot calipers ..........

Still wouldn't really work mate, @310mm it's only 14mm bigger than whats already there, but mainly thicker than anything else, the drum design would not allow for the fronts to be used.

You can get bigger rears from stoptech or there is a company now working on bigger rears for zeds and 200's using the Zed 4 pot caliper.

cheers
