The black paint on the wipers on my 200SX had partly worn off, so I decided to take it off(the paint) with a knife and Brillo pad - only the middle section. The result is I think they look pretty cool.

 

Anyone else done this on their 300? I'm not sure if it will suit the 300, especially as mine is a white one.

I was thinking about doing that very thing - thought it might look quite good on my silver 1990 TT.

 

Are the arms aluminium or steel?

 

I tried to repaint mine, but it wasn't terribly successful :-(

I think they are steel.

I've repaineted my S13 ones, looked pretty good but has began to chip again, flys hitting them at 140mph obviously too much for the paint.

Mine haven't rusted yet, so no worries there !

Is it only nissan who used arse paint on the wiper blades.....the other car....(sorry in advance) Mundano TD 150K on the clock ....same wiper arms...not a mark on them......

had mine shotblasted and re powder coated looks the dogs bollocks

 

as you can see the wipers on ours are going bad ways too . They arent that bad though. The honda CRX we had on the drive that was a 1992, the wiper arms were TOTALLY rusted. So we can be safe in the knowledge that there are worse

Excellent colour paintwork (blue). I looked at a pale grey/blue one before getting my white one, and it looked really nice.
