dont do it bud, wait for the second gen model which should come out with 3g, these ones dont

i really wanted one but the battery is cr@p, phone is slow. as said wait for the revised model thats what i'm doing and bought a SE w910i for now

oh the good old days of a pocket full of 10p pieces and a 25 min wait while some fvker would,nt leave the phone kiosk till there last 1/10000000th of a unit had been used up and thats iff you found one that did,nt have spew :hurl: all over it or at the very least was working

I bought two of these in July and was going to keep one. After finding out they were tied to the AT&T network and that this would happen over here too, I decided to flog them on ebay. Surprisingly I made over £200 on them, which helped pay off my 3rd world debt once I got home! Nice phone, but raw deal from the providers. Buy a phone and the cut-down iPod version instead IMO.

We've got one in the office here. Looks very cool but functionality wise it really does fall sort of the competition.

As a phone, the i phone isnt up to much, yeah its fantastic as a media centre and looks 'nice' but has no 3G and slow internet access....

 

The nearest competetors are the....

 

N95 (crap software and batery)

LG Prada (full tough screen but is a pain to operate)

 

And my weapon of choice is the....

 

SE W960i (Touchscreen, 8GB memory, sybian OS and 3G!!)

 

so there.
