Has anyone had to have their cam seal(s) replaced before and do you remember what sort of price you paid?. I have an oil leak which looks like one of the cam seals on the drivers side head, there is a fair amount of oil on that side and it looks to be coming from under the cam cover. I am considering having a go myself but I don't feel particularly confident removing and refitting the cam belt successfully.

I guess whilst doing the seal(s) I should also consider having the water pump and cam belt changed as well?

Cheers

Gareth

expect the same cost will aply as doing a 60k service 2-3hours all in

so not to bad really! I would replace all the interval parts as precaution as the belt and tensioner need to be removed anyway. :)

Cheers for that Greg. What is the going rate for a 60K service then, I'd be particularly interested in anybody who has used garages/specialists in the north west...
