Yeah - agreed - I think it's just hard for him to say anything nice about a Nissan, since he holds an irrational and seemingly irreversible bias against them - it's the first time I've ever seen him review a Nissan and not call it a "Datsun" as if he has a bad taste in his mouth...

 

Personally if anyone says anything about "Datsuns" to me, I simply remind them that was the brand that the 240Z was released under - effectively the car that started it all :nono:

300zx was in his top 100 cars video, and the R34 was in the top 10 (can't remeber the number may even have been top 5) so I wouldn't say he hates them.

Yep, you're quite right - never understood that entry for the 300zx, it seems in recent years, he's completely forgotten about that - has nothing but bad press for them. Nice to see it selected over all the other contemporary Japanese supercars though - don't remember seeing a GTO in there, for example!! :D

to be honest when it was bought over here it was never running the power it was meant to as it was damaged so it was not running anywhere near 1000 bhp in the vid, since mick got it it had to have loads of work done to bring it upto spec and it does now run around 900 bhp and is a 9 sec car on the strip now :)
