just heard two adverts, one for DFS (furniture store) and one for argos, they both had christmass style song's in their adverts

when to the local supermarket last night and they had decorations and christmas music going

there is only 9 weekends till christmas - thats 9 sundays to finish tiling the main bathroom, finish tiling the en-suite, put the wood flloring on bedrrom 4 and loft room , tile and fit the downsatirs loo, fit all the skirting boards, paint the 1st floor landing ............agggghhhhhhhh :smash:

Yes, mine needs finishing started the tiling 2 months ago still not done!!

 

Got the olds coming here for xmas :smash: , better be done by then.

you think that's bad, two christmasses ago, i had to build a bay window, knock three walls down, rewire, replumb, fit new plastic windows, reskim all the wall, pave the front and back yards, new skirting's, fixtures and fittings, new kitchen, new bathroom, paint and carpet

 

i have loads still left to do lol

i built my house from scratch - so believe me - there is loads left to do - i dont think it will ever get finished :slap: - still its been fun a stressful hectic kind of way

I think these companies need to be boycotted for a month in protest.

Saw the new Argos one just now. Nearly threw the pizza I was eating at my new Sony Bravia!

They're getting away with it every year, cos no-one does fook all about it. I refuse to go to tesco's or any other shop that is displaying Christmas until december. But I'm not succeeding because smaller shops are now jumping on the bandwagon. it's bad now, just wait till halloween is over, it makes me sick to my stomach TBH

In case you think i'm going overboard, go to a family that's taking out loans in october to cover Christmas and all it's "trimmings" just to please the kids, majority of whom don't give two sh*ts, it's completely normal to them.
