Does anyone know if the driver and passenger seats can be swopped to reduce wear? If not what about the backrest section only? Cheers

Coogs,

I can barely remember stripping my seats down for my Katzkin installation.

If you swap the seat over you would have to check that the electic control can be fitted to the passenger base.

I don't see a problem with swapping the rear sections over though.

Mmm!

I think maybe the elctric runners are actually attached to the drivers seat base!

Unless you have two electric seats, you would probably lose this adjustment.

For anyone who is interested I took both seats out and looked at the runners etc. basically, you can't swop them over without a lot of compromises, not even the backs only. The electric driver seat button assy won't fit in the passenger side as it will foul the tran tunnel. The seat back has a motor in it, so if you swop it with the other seat back , you lose the adjustment on the seat back, and so on etc. If you are really determined it could probably be done, but mega hassle. leave it alone.
