I have 2 rear panels spare, both have odd fractures in, sometime they show bad other times you just cannot see it at all ?

Anyone else had this ?

yeah - fractures within the plastic, stress fractures rather than actual breaks?? I put some in mine by leaving one of the bolts in (or nuts on, can't remember now!!) when trying to remove it - assume it's a common thing!!

Hi,

If you've still got the stock series one rear spoiler, they get filled with water with age and the weight of the tailgate and spoiler on the rear panel probably causes the cracks!

Cheerz,

Jez.

brittle plastic, british weather, and age. Thats the problem. If the cracks aint too bad then you could give them a bit of a rub down with the finest wet & dry then spray a coat of window tint on them. this should make them invisible. It worked on mine.
