i would bet my house on it ;)

with that setup you will maybe make 550+ at the fly give or take a few ponies :)

depending on what rolling road you use around 500 at the wheels ish, again alot to do with the mapping to get the most out of your setup.

will be a good very fast street'able car ;)

Mike

ahh but i have it exclusivly from Z1 that this will make 800 ponies lol.

yea right.

I dont get lost, I just dont get directions in time.

Don't you think that might have something to do with travelling at 180.

"Chris we need to get of the autoban at the next, erm the last junction". :slap:

Any way 800 USHP is code for that there be A fooooking fast car boy.

That's American bhp mate.......it's different to ours

500 - 550 at the rear wheels mate - i should know :D

regards,

alex

2 x td05-16g's making 800bhp ?? dunno about that close maybe not 800 though , Id say 650 ish

The td05-16g make realistically about 345-365hp @ 22 psi per turbo according to the compressor maps

lol to be honest if it hits 500 ponies at the wheel ill be very happy, but i just dont see these mods making 800. z1 must have some super duper way of getting these figures, probably a 900shot of nos lol

That's a nice looking shopping list, however, your final BHP figure will all be down to tuning. Getting the right tuning person/company will make all the difference.

Are you planning on staying with a stock ECU and getting it tuned? Or perhaps thinking further afield, where there will be more expertise in the UK with an aftermarket solution using, for example, a DTA/Emerald/Motec/other ECU.

I should imagine a rear-wheel figure of 500BHP will be realistic - which would mean you pushing 600 at the fly (assuming a 20% transmission loss which isn't unrealistic)

Good luck!!

Simon.

Not sure as of yet. the most reputable tuners near me use motec, in fact everyone I know around here uses motec.

motec are very very good but budget for about £4k for your zed to supply, fit and map it ;) you will need a new loom etc

theres a few people now running similar setups so getting a good guestimate is pretty easy :) mac runs around 600 ish at the wheels on his 18g's running max boost and cj runs 530 at the hubs (hubs are somewhere in between wheels and fly) so i still stick with 500 at the wheels

to be honest if its a fast car you want then think more about weight rather than power, in a swb with some weight trimmed off and 500 rwhp it will be pretty interesting :D i should know, pauls red slicktop was running 16g's and it was mental :hyper:

yep. im all for shedding weight. pretty much the reason why I have not bothered with all leather interior and ICE. But I want creature comforts otherwise its just a track car and not a driver.
