Got up to find my boxer pup has a lump on her chin, she broke her jaw earlier this year so not worth taking a chance so straight to the vets where it turns out the pin has come loose and caused an infection :( so an operation later to remove the pin and wiring and she's fine but i'm £300 lighter :slap:

Picking her up from the vets when the wife rings to say she's broken down and it turns out the clutch has gone :smash: so thats another £400 down the drain as i havnt got time to fix it and she needs it for work :mac1:

So not done anything today and i'm £700 lighter.....well i say £700, ive just got back from the pub so theres another £40

If i didnt have pet insurance id be £6,000 lighter because of my cat

she was insured and saved me nearly £4k but when the renewal came through it went up over 4 times the price!! which is a little naughty so we did not renew it and with moving we had forgot about it and (touch wood) she's not done anything stupid for the last 6 months LOL

always makes me wonder, when your just a normal customer who pays its not too much but when they know your insured it runs in the thousands :nono:

Well they say bad luck comes in threes - and thats only 2 so there is still time for the big end

cheers for that :smash:

just got a call from the garage and when they went to take the suspension arms off to remove the gearbox the bolt that holds everything together has snapped  so a whole new hub now needs to go on but on the bright side its basically a bloody new car now

spent about £2k on a £3.5k car getting it to what i would class as perfect wrking order :slap:

should have never encouraged her to pass her test and made her get a bus :D

Yep i think the vets rip off the insurance companies

I put 50 quid worth of unleaded in my 4x4 diesel yesterday Mike. I then proceeded to drive until she broke down  Waiting for the bill at the moment so kinda know how you feel.. :(
