I know Escort racing make some but does anyone have them? or know how much they are and where to buy them?

 

Am i correct in thinking Zed doors are really heavy and these would be a great weight saver?

 

Is there anyone else out there who also makes them?

Z1 motorsports sell them. Im not sure if anyone has actually bought any yet though. They are designed for Off-road race/track cars only, You will need a Full rollcage if you fit these.

No, the zed door has no internal frame and is quite light, but still not as light as grp

what you will save in the doors you will gain with a roll cage with a side bar

Yep, thats why you would need a full cage

Which probably makes up for the change in weight! LOL.

 

Idea of having fibreglass bodypanels makes me cringe.
