Firstly, this is nothing to do with the current industrial action.

 

My postman seems to be arriving later and later these days :( It used to be nice and early (before 8am) then this splipped to 1-2pm but now we're not getting our post until 4-5pm! As I work from home and mostly get paid by cheque, it's almost always too late to get to the bank and pay in :( It's therefore costing me money :cry:

 

Does anyone else have late deliveries or is it just me? :smash: Have I got grounds for an official complaint?

we have 5-6 postmen on our street and they come when they fancy :slap:

ours is usually spot on between 9am - 9.30am

 

doubt you will get anywhere if you complain. They will tell you something like 'its arrived on the day so what are you complaining about'

1st class is usually next day delivery, it doesnt have a time of delivery.

If you have items in your post that are special delivery before 9am... and it gets there at 11am... complain but again, nothing will be done. :)

dont see whats wrong with that tho, makes no difference to me

mine are the same bloody 12 oclock it comes, just plain old Royal Mail getting lazy imho.

 

What really fooks me off, is when they deliver a parcel at 12, obviously im at work, they leave me a card and the only times the bloody sorting office is open is bloody working hours ffs.

 

You can jhave it redelivered but HELLO ILL BE AT WORK AGAIN!!

 

It would nto be hard to apply some common sense would it!!

Same here between 11am and 2pm.

If I know a parcel will not go through the letterbox I get it delivered

to work. Saves me having to go to the sorting office when I should

be at work.

I also get a lot of mail for other people. Just because the numbers are the same, dont think they can be arsed to read the street name.

Same up here..used to be 9-10 now it's as late as 4pm.. the only time its early is Sat morning usually around 8am ( just when you want that lie in )

It got like this when they re-structured and took 2nd delivery off..

 

What really hacks me off is when you miss a delivery and have to collect item from sorting office is the stupid opening times they have... they should be 5 til 9 ( when most people finish work )

 

As far as complaining goes i think it will be falling on deaf ears
