hissing battery after charging????

lol no idea wats going on!!!!! charged my battery today stuck it in my car and it started hissing???? started my car left it now its flat again??? bat might be ****ed i know but the hissing??? wats that about?????

    thanks mate. wondering why i put threads on here asking about my mx6's clutch and get no replies???? Im only selling it not keeping it lol still a zx freak. but if anyone can advise me on fitting a clutch kit on 1 of these coz b4 i do i need to get as much info as poss
