:confused: Since picking the car up sunday, which has been great! spent days just driving about. A couple of times the accelerator pedal has stuck, it alway been when I've really put my foot down, The pedal goes hard and I have to really tap it several times to get it to release. any ideas?

check the metal breather pipe next to it. they sometime come loose and rumb against it. they just tap back in, you might want to check it .if it gets stuck open you could be in trouble

yep what he said. ive had some hairy moment when thats happened, but a dab of locktight has stopped it

Everyone should check it regulaly, a common problem thats potentially very dangerous.

 

I zipped-tied mine after it happened... was planning to make a sleeve to go over it, but have never got round to it... maybe one for a miserable winter night!!
