Having had to endure the family from hell living next door all summer, loud music all day dogs barking ect I finally rang the council to come and speak to them. Didn't care if the officer told them it was us that reported them they would have guessed anyway as we have been asking them all summer to think about our privacy, but being council tenents living an benefits even they could have sussed that one out. Not having a go at council estates we have lived here for years and bought our house from the council, as have a few people around here. Anyway coming out to work tonight the chavvy son who would be about 22 yrs old and been drinking all day had a go, I not being in the best of moods with a night shift to do, told him to F@@k himself and to speak to me tomorrow when he was sober. Use a van for work so the Z is on our drive just waiting for a brick to be put through the back window. My wife and daughter are in the house alone have told her to ring police if she hears anything and dont go outside. Not scared of this lot phyically but they know damaging my car would be a way of getting to me. Only want a quiet life, and it was till this lot were moved in.

Feel for you mate :( -Can't think of anything worse than having to put up with scummers like that!

You got camera's up?-I'm not going the traditional 'smack em' with a bat' etc route here, just that if you can get a case against em' you could shift em' on to the next poor sods! ;)

Yer thought about putting them up, seems a few people getting fed up with this family maybe if enough people complain they will be moved. Any ideas to get around this situation welcome. It may well be we end up moving, just seems a sad state when a chavvy family think they can rule the roost.

i believe you need to keep a log of EVERYTHING they do as do your neighbours and also keep video footage if thats possible then it can be proved. hope it gets sorted for you mate

Have a group meeting with the neighbours and all lobby the council to move them on, its in their council agreement to not upset anyone wich they signed and is a contract.

If they don't move them on all of you stop paying your council tax and make a hugh issue (involving the papers) of the way scum are being pampered to.

Thanks for support guys. Luckily no damage to car but just get the feeling it will happen.

and now you have that feeling you will have it everytime you leave the house, best have a chat with the other decent neighbours

Poor bugger. Never had bad neighbours. I dunno what I'd do if I had to put up with that. Nice and very quiet round here.
