He makes me laugh more than the other two and always has done. Great mannerism, witty and amusing.

 

Most of what he's doing is because he's been asked to by the producers anyway to make things entertaining, which is what gives TG the edge over the other motoring programs.

 

So, getting worked up and calling someone a grade a prick is a little silly TBH.

they do entertain but can piss you off like the time they had old against knew hamster saying our cars are for fat americans hes probably never driven our beasts and drives a shit 911 which the germans used in world war 2 its on you tube,the western world hates jap cars because they are much better in all departments maybe apart from interior,the nissan skyline broke the world record for 0-200 and beat the veyron by 10seconds eat that hamster sad prick they drive cars £100,000 then comment on lower priced cars the nissan 300zx actually stopped the supra from coming out as it was so state of the art for that time toyota shit them selves,as did porsche and ferrari and the corvett,better than them all.

He's just playing a character for the programme...very good actor!

He was replaced at one time by fat lad Jason Dawe, from The Used Car Roadshow, but it didn't work and so they brought James May back again!

He plays an idiot on the TV as he has been asked to. I'm sure there are a few traits that are genuinely his but on the whole I feel they all for the most are just exaggerated persona’s of themselves and not how they actually are at all.

 

Not sure how you can think anyone an idiot without knowing them, especially when your only reference to them is via a scripted TV program.

Its not that I dont like him, its he drives me nuts. the producers milk that he's a dick, but what drives me insane about him he is so much of a dick he goes along with it. But take any of the 3 away on their own and they are all pretty much the same, put them together and you have TV Nirvana

Driven is terrible. Is that the show where they test car stereos by opening the windows and walking away and get women to put makeup on in cars going over rough ground?

 

Terrible program that, it's not factual and it's not even funny.....so not sure why it exists.
