yeah. 3 of us managed to get on the banzai stand due to where we was put. the zclub stand might as well have been outside the bloody gates. mind you, we certainly paid for it when it was time to leave. took us nearly hour and half to get from the stand to the gates :headvswal

The Z club applied late to get a pitch hence they got last choice.

300ZX. co.ok never had a stand of their own so no wonder nobody could find it.

Like you Mike I was disappointed to see so few 300s.

It has just re energised my plans to build a new slicktop to play in. In my absense on the track this weekend Dave Chung has just beaten my personal best NA time of 14.575 by one hundredth of a sec on Sat , posting a 14.574!!!!

that alone is sufficient to persuade me to return in 2008 with a better and faster car.

I didn't go for personal reasons, a few people i didn't really want to see again.

 

Really wanted to test the NOS out :( Oh well, next year i'll be back with a new engine in place and fully tuned ready to go :D

Dont be put off by tosser keyboard warriers mate!! was a shame as it was a good all round turn out and some great racing :)

 

Hopefully next year all the events will be better arranged and will lead to more people going to make us a big club like we used to be, not having a go at anyone but of late its gone from a club which had one of the biggest turn outs of all the jap clubs to being one where one or two people come which is a damm shame :(

i counted about 25 300zx over the 2 days and i never found the Zclub stand either. there were 5 or 6 on Banzai, and 5 more on Japgirls, and i saw 7 i think on the strip.

 

Saw the Zcentre one and Machine's, both looking very nice. I asume it was you and him that were getting into it about 4pm today

I was there, didnt take the zx due to the water pump packing up on me a week before hand.... kinda lucky really, would want that to go on the way there!! LOL

 

Good show tho, thought it would be more busy mind....

I'd planned to go to this, but not having my slicktop ready yet has put a big dampner on my enthusiasm and combined with the travelling distance in a peugeot diesel kinda ruled it out for me :(.
