Ive had fitted a blitz dsbc controller, tried to set it up with the boost gauge but regardless what setting I used the boost would go to 1.2bar, read a few of the old posts around the forum and went to check if the stock solenoids were still connected...they were,pulled the plugs and went for a run, tried all 4 preset boost settings (i set to 40 50 60 70 for test purposes) but now the car wont boost above 0.5bar...any ideas guys????

0.5 bar is about 7 psi which is what pressure the stock actuators will open at. By disconnecting the stock solenoids you have stopped them from opening so now its a closed system to the wastegates.

 

Sounds like the solenoid from your ebc is not opening at all

forgive me if this is stupid...theres a switch on the back of the controller that you can set to either wastegate or solenoid, Its currently at solenoid is this correct?

actually its set to ACTUATOR not solenoid ..oops!

That'll probably be it then!
