A friend of the Mrs meets her outside school everyday to pick up the kids, and she's always saying how much her 10 year old loves my z, anytime he sees it in the village he get's pretty excited lol (we were all 10 once remember).

Just heard yesterday he's getting a bit of bullying , nothing serious, but I believe he's a very soft and quiet kid. so today at 3 o'clock after getting the ok with his mum i pulled up in a big shiny red Z right at the school gates. You should have seen his face when i told him i was taking him home, priceless lol :D

A few of the kids were shouting something a him, he just turned gave them the finger and hopped in. :p The other kids were left with their jaws hanging as we left. Felt good to see the little fella with a big grin after I dropped him home.

cheers. The boy in question has an older brother (12) with downs syndrome. he is an unusually kind and thoughtful kid and has been brought up looking after his older brother. i think that may be to do with being a target for bullies. yeah trish i thought about it, but you know what these small communities are like. I think the spin in the z made up for it tho ;)

What a great thing to do mate, well done :D

I was bullied all the way through school and someone doing that for you is a big thing so he must have thought the world of you for doing that :)

Great one Chewie! You definitely built up some good Karma.

When my boys were smaller I used to pick them up on the motorcycle, and now and then I pick up my daughter in the Z from secondary school. She calls it the "cool car". The grins on their faces as we pull away with all the other kids pointing and staring were priceless.

I have picked my 10 year niece up b4, she loves it. If she is with her mates on birthdays etc always hops in the z. Keeps asking if she can get a z when she is older, lol

that is a truly altruistic gesture. things like that make me proud to be a member on here.

Give yourself a pat on the back!

Nice one mate.It can be pretty hard going for kids nowadays, but what you've just done can make all the difference. My lads 9 and he's had some rough times this last year along with his Mum, sister and me.Lost his Nan (my Mum) in January, moved house and school .He went really inward after losing his Nan and got bullied,a few bigger ones surrounded him and he couldn't see a way out so picked some scissors up to make them back off.Obviously I was phoned to pick him up straight away. How things are today with stabbings etc I know it was serious, but if I'm honest put in the same situation I'd have done the same.Due to everything going really bad the Z has been garaged for 6 months (finances, also reason for not being subscribed anymore).

BUT fair do's the one thing that puts the biggest smile on his face is our Z ,strike it up and pull it out of the garage he beams, No Money Can Buy That !

I commend you and any other person that carries out such nice acts to make others feel better. At the end of the day my Z's have always made me and them around me happy.

All the best mate.
