I know because i've spoken to Exedy Europe about these clutches and they have told me that if it ever was an Exedy clutch it is that old (ie stopped being made at least 10 years ago) that it is no longer listed and therefore has no exedy backing.

They also said that the meterial in a clutch starts to break down after about 5 years if never used. Aparently the compound has to cook through use to make it stable and before it works properly.

Be Gee Vinz bought an Exedy that was over 10 year old and it didn't work properly, but because he bought it from an Exedy ortherised dealer they swaped it for a new Carbon alloy twin plate.

if it works its a good deal though.

but its from fleabay and i would buy on there if it was the best deal in teh worldI been ripped of on tehre for the last time

used them there not much better over stock and will slip with additional bost before long.
