cant tell anything from the picture, its just a "chip" all the numbers on it state are its original manufacturer (i.e the factory that produced the blank chip before it had anything programmed into it) and that its an EPROM chip with 256kb of memory.

Need to find out who fitted it, and ask them what its programmed with :)

actually that's an OTP PROM (one time programmable rom)

an EPROM (the one with a small round "window" in the middle) can be erased and reprogrammed...
