My girlfriend has crashed my car. Unfortunately it appears it is a write off and as she was only 3rd party so i am trying to ascertain what is salvageable :(

The rear wheel hit the curb with enough force to crack off a piece of the edge of the alloy and actually bend the wheel inwards at the bottom.

How would the suspension, hicas arms etc have likely fared? I just had brand new KYB AGX fitted so would be good if they were still intact.

Thanks

One more zed down.....

That should'nt be the end of the world really, stuff like that can be fixed, it would be best of you got a mechanic under it and he can tell you exactly what parts you need.

A few people have made similar mistake, but with 2nd hand parts from someone like AndyZ you ought to be able to get it sorted.

I wish that was all that was wrong with it! the front passenger corner took the brunt. The engine and manual gearbox survived so breaking will probably be the way forward. Though I don't have the ability for that which means having to pay someone to do it. A pain either way but as she says, she is ok and thats all that matters!

OH :( Thats very unlucky, i guess breaking is the way forward then, unless you can sell it as a whole to save you time. You could break it yourself, everything is simple enough until you get to engine and gearbox and then i would suggest selling it under the condition that the person who buys has to remove it from the car themselves. Only a thought - just gotta do whats best for you. :)
