Anyone here got a really serious stereo in their Z ? I mean something with at least one external amp, a really good head unit, big speakers etc.? Not just powerful, quality sound.

 

I plan to build my own system -jus' curious if anyone else has done anything really cool ?

Bob and Tooley come to mind, im sure there are others too.

2 x 10" 350w subs in the back (built box)

2 x 165mm 250w two way blasters in door cards

2 x 165mm 250w two way balsters in rear

2 x 150w tweeters between the seats (trust me they sound pukka there!!)

1 mStation MP3 player

1 Pioneer head Unit

JBL Amp in rear........

 

Probably not on the same grand scale as Bob and Tooley (who are the masters) but not too shabby.

 

Sound quality is excellent at all volume levels....

The overall effect is seriously loud but also real quality. You can get a real nice sound outta the Zed

Don't ANY of you go for bigger speakers in the doors

From what I've seen here so far you all seem to have small ones

I use 6x9s in them...

Also a fan of Kicker stuff

I've booked Oasis to play for one night only, out of my boot and I will be bringing my Goodmans Karaoke amp so that I can duet Ciggerettes & Alcohol with Liam at full hoof!!! Top that!!!
