Hi all,

Having decided that im deffinately after a 300zx was wondering what peoples views are of the one below.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1990-NISSAN-300ZX-FAIRLADY-BLACK_W0QQitemZ160158410187QQihZ006QQcategoryZ18238QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Im not convinced by the body kit but i can change that to suit my own tastes.

I am quite new to the Zed's and I apreciate that there is a buying guide on this site, but was wondering if there was anything particular i should look out for on this one given the mods done.

Any help would be much apreciated.

Thank you

My advise is dont buy a zed your not 100% sure of they can be expensive to get them the way you want, especially if your not sure about the body kit. Although you will proberbly find someone to buy it of you. Have a look through the cars for sale ads, Your proberbly better to buy 1 of this site as you can find out the history of the car. The description of the one advertised seems a little over streatched to me, the car wont make 450bhp with an induction kit dump valves and turbo timer, plus it says the bodywork needs attention and the clutch is slipping.

It depends how cheap you can get it really - DEFINEATELY view before bidding though, if in needs any attention. I would NEVER EVER bid on a car without looking, but thats just me other do and get lucky but you could be an unlucky one.

Also that bodykit is terrible, don't forget you have the expense of fitting and painting on top of the cost of the actual body kit, if you change it that is.

I would deffinately go and have a look and drive prior to bidding, Given the body work is tatty anyway it just seemed a possible way of me getting a slightly cheaper car that i can make look as i want. However i am tempted by a few on this site, so might just arrange to view some of them

Thanks for your advice

personally, i wouldnt touch that one with a barge pole... its going to need lots of £££ to tidy it up cosmetically and by the story he waffles on about his mate who had a fairlady that was chipped but his was still faster, im led to believe that his isnt chipped... so hes claiming 450hp with an induction kit! alarm bells are ringing to me...

450bhp    Obviously has those 'magic' stock turbos and injectors
